eta has been enabling students to enter higher education and benefit from becoming practitioners in fitness, sport coaching and the business of sport since 1983. We want to be your lifelong learning partner, putting you on the path to your academic dream whether it’s; a workshop for continuing credits, a short course, a national qualification or the onward journey to a PhD.

eta is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education college. Qualifications are accredited and recognized internationally where we have campuses or where there is a register of exercise professionals (REPS).

eta takes a total immersion approach to teaching. This means a balance of theoretical learning and practical application. The additional benefit of total immersion is that you improve your own conditioning while learning at the same time.

eta Full time study is ideal for students who have recently completed high school and want a recognized, registered and accredited national qualification. In addition, they want a complete teaching, learning and campus experience.

eta Part time study is ideal for students who have a significant amount of work experience. Some will be in full time employment, others  may be unemployed. These are mostly people who want to reinvent their career or need a qualification to satisfy an employer or to get work / start a business. They do not need in depth teaching support.

eta Online / Distance study is ideal for students who cannot attend classes. Their learning is self-directed and supported by a tutor via email. Students can enroll any time with a choice of two course commencement dates per year.

eta culture is learning combined with fun. We are serious about education and committed to assisting you have a great experience. This is particularly relevant in full time study where you get the opportunity to mingle with people you relate to.  (See the induction video)

eta graduates are highly sought after by employers but many choose to open their own practices or studios.
